Tiered whorls of pale yellow flowers, dotted with deep purple spots, sit stacked beneath layers of pink-tinged leafy bracts, get up close to really see what makes this plant so gorgeous! Planted in a single spot it's a conversation piece, but planted en masse it becomes a striking textured drift, especially once in full bloom from summer into fall. Bees are drawn to it in numbers, and it's also a host plant for the gray marvel moth and the snout moth. Deer and rabbit resistant and genuinely drought tolerant, it holds up in tough, sandy, or dry sites where many other perennials struggle.
